Sonai student shines in HS exams while working as an assistant at his grandfather's hotel
Ruhil Mumin Laskar, a dedicated student from a financially disadvantaged family, has emerged as a shining star in the recently announced HS exams results. With sheer determination and perseverance, Ruhil secured an impressive 75 percent marks, achieving letter marks in three subjects, all while sharing his responsibilities as an assistant at his grandfather’s hotel.
Residing in Kaptanpur Part 13, Ruhil faced financial constraints that could have hindered his education. However, driven by his unwavering ambition, he began working at his grandfather’s hotel to fund his studies and overcome the hurdles that stood in his way.
Ruhil’s outstanding performance in the Science stream has garnered attention and accolades from various organisations. Ansar Hussain Barlaskar, the President of Cachar District Minority Congress, along with Maulana Nazir Hussain Majumdar, M Maqsud Ahmed Barbhuiya representing Ahle Sunnat, and Social Welfare Organisation Cachar District President Saharul Islam Barbhuiya, Mehbub Ahmed Barbhuiya, and Baharul Islam Barbhuiya extended their congratulations to Ruhil. They presented him with traditional gamchas and thoughtful gifts as a token of appreciation for his exceptional achievement.
Expressing his aspirations for the future, Ruhil shared his ambition to appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exams and pursue his career as a doctor. Despite the challenges and hurdles he has faced, Ruhil remains determined to realise his dream of becoming a doctor and serving his community through healthcare.
