TEDxNITSilchar 2019 to feature Ritabhari Chakraborty, Akshay Jain, Happy Doctor among others
NIT Silchar organised TEDx for the first time in November of 2016. The educational institute hosted great names in the fields of art, activism, psychiatry and more. And now, NIT Silchar is set to host TEDx with zeal and enthusiasm while beholding the theme ‘A Positive Slope’.
NIT Silchar has aimed in bringing all those personalities, who with their development and continuous uphill battle have contributed to the country’s progress. The event features six professionals from various dimensions such as art and culture, technology, medical science etc based on the theme.
Starting with the efficacious entrepreneur, founder of the nano e-waste, the fastest growing e-waste management company in India, Akshay Jain. He with his enthusiasm has taken big steps in building the best e-waste recycling facilities in India.
Following him is the gorgeous, model-turned-actress, beauty pageant titleholder and Miss India Earth 2014, Alankrita Sahai who has bagged 7 titles of Miss Earth pageant held in Philippines.
Then comes Arun Dohle, a reckoned adoption activist and the co-founder of the NGO Against Child Trafficking (ACT). After a long struggle of 17 years, he was successful in discovering his biological mother.
Adding to the lineup is the “happy doctor”, Dr. Suresh Devnani, founder and chief happiness officer of Dr. Devnani & Associates is one of the world’s leading experts on creating happiness within the workplace.
Next on the speakers’ list is Payal Gupta, a renowned chef and a top-notch food stylist. After a continuous hassle, she finally made her way to being a celebrated food stylist.
Last but definitely not the least, ending the lineup with the epitome of beauty, talented and a prominent name in the film industry, Ritabhari Chakraborty. Having started her career from a very young age, she has made a humongous headway.
