Three Cachar residents die in a tragic road accident in Mizoram
Three died in a road menace in Mizoram, near the Tut Bridge in West Pailen Bypass.
It is being informed that a six wheeler 407 truck carrying the registration number MZ-05-8944, while returning after unloading goods lost its control ahead of Mammit Road and flipped down almost 2 km below the road.
The owner, driver and another person died in this accident. It is known that Ramiz Uddin Laskar (32) of Bhaga – Jamalpur was driving the truck, while Ripon Ahmed was the handyman. Khalil Uddin Laskar (55) of Shilidubi- Dhanehari was also there in the truck, and he sustained fatal injuries.
The local people recovered them from the spot and rushed them to hospital where Khalil was declared dead by the doctor. Police has sent all three corpses to Aizawl hospital for postmortem.
As per the latest report, family members of the three deceased are returning back from Aizawl after the postmortem. Death of these three people just a day before Eid has brought a shadow of gloom in their respective villages.
