Tipper driver loses life in a tragic accident at Swarbala Brick Kiln

Anarul Alam Laskar, a 27-year-old tipper driver, lost his life in a tragic accident at Swarbala Brick Kiln under the Dholai Police Station area. Anarul, son of late Taj Uddin Laskar and a resident of Rajnagar, used to operate a tipper at the brick kiln.

On Sunday afternoon, after parking his tipper at the kiln, he went home. Before taking out the tipper on Monday, he was checking the mobil of the vehicle by opening the bonnet. At the same time the driver of another tipper, which also belonged to the same owner, reversed his vehicle inadvertently, resulting in a head-on collision between the two tippers. Anarul got squashed in between the two tippers and was seriously injured. Despite being rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital, he died on the way before reaching there.

Anarul’s body was buried after a post-mortem examination at the Medical College with the assistance of Silchar Truck Drivers’ Association. As the only child of his parents, Anarul’s sudden death has plunged the entire area into mourning.
