Tragic road accident claims life of a milkman at Ramnagar Bypass, Sparks outrage in local community

A fatal road accident at Ramnagar Bypass claimed the life of Sarju Goala, a 40-year-old milk vendor by profession, on the night of September 20. The accident occurred when a speeding truck, bearing the number AS 11 DC 8066, lost it’s control and collided with Mr. Goala, who was cycling in the opposite direction.

The impact of the collision was devastating, resulting in the immediate demise of Sarju Goala. Following the accident, the truck driver fled the scene.

The police arrived at the spot and sent the body of the deceased to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for a thorough post-mortem examination, as part of the ongoing investigation.
