Two Cachar drivers Missing for a week with lorries in Manipur

Two drivers from Cachar have gone missing along with their lorries in Manipur, sparking protests by their families at the Jandu Construction office. The incident occurred last Friday (January 3) when two 1618 dumper trucks transporting construction materials for Jandu Construction departed from Silchar. The vehicles successfully delivered the materials to Mandu in West Tamenglong, Manipur but vanished on their return journey.

The missing drivers have been identified as Rijul Haque Laskar, son of Safar Uddin Laskar from Ganganagar Part 4 under Kachudaram Police Station in East Dholai, and Nasir Uddin, son of Masaddar Ali from Lakhkhichhara Forest Village Part 2 under Jirighat Police Station of Lakhipur. The lorries bear registration numbers AS 11 CC 3476 and AS 11 3691.
