Two female bodies is found in Barak valley, police trying to identify the deceased

Two bodies of unidentified women were found from a Bairagi Tilla in Chatla of Cachar District on Saturday morning, which took the area into a state of shock.

The bodies were spotted by locals of the area who immediately called the police. The cops rushed to the spot and then recovered the bodies for further investigation.

Additional SP of Cachar, Jagadish Das while speaking to Barak Bulletin said that they got the information around 10 am in the morning after which a team was mobilized to the spot.

“The body has not been identified yet as the locals are not recognizing them. We have sent the body for post mortem and more can be said only after we receive the report” ASP Das said to our correspondent.
