Accordingly, based on intel reports, Silchar Police personnel, led by the Officer-In-Charge of Silchar Police Station, conducted an operation against drugs today in Sonai Road, Silchar, near Maruti showroom. During the raid, 25 small bags of drugs weighing 325 grams, suspected to be brown sugar, were seized. The market price of the seized drugs is estimated to be around 3 crores.
