
Two more test COVID positive in Barak Valley; toll rises to 106 in Assam
Two more Corona cases were reported from Barak Valley on Monday, taking the state total to 106. According to the latest tweet of Himanta Biswa Sharma, there are now 60 active cases in Assam with 3 deaths and 2 migrated cases.
According to the information received, out of the two cases reported today evening, one of them is from Sonai of Cachar district, Kazidhar area and the other is from Karimganj district. Both of them reached Silchar via Guwahati yesterday and were quarantined. Mahmudul Lashkar, a twenty-year-old youth, has come from West Bengal.
Jabir Hussain Lashkar (18) is from Akbarpur of Karimganj district and has arrived from Hardoi of Uttar Pradesh. Both were put under Institutional Quarantine after reaching Silchar.
