ONGC sanctioned modern toilet blocks in Govt Boys school inaugurated today

Great news for the students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Silchar. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) under its corporate social responsibility initiative sanctioned two modern toilet blocks in the school premises.

The newly built toilets were inaugurated today in presence of exploratory asset manager, ONGC, AK Gupta. The inauguration ceremony early this morning was also attended by Principal Incharge Parvin Sultana Laskar and other senior ONGC executives.

In the inauguration ceremony, Gupta asserted that ONGC is committed towards fulfillment of its social responsibilities and the PSU will continue to invest in future too. “I hope the toilets are utilised to its potential and kept clean and tidy,” he added.

Principal in-charge Laskar, in her speech thanked ONGC for its contribution. She said, “These toilets will help students stay healthy in an hygienic condition. ONGC sanctioned Rs 8 lakh to build the two new blocks of modern toilets,” he added.
