Two passenger trains from Silchar to Maishashan via Karimganj to resume services from November 15

NF Railways has announced the resumption of two passenger trains leaving from Silchar for Maishashan. After the outbreak of COVID19, the trains were defunct and for the first time since then, the services have been resumed.

05682 Silchar – Mahishashan passenger special train will depart from Silchar at 6:00 am on every Monday and Friday. It will reach Karimganj at 7:48 am and Mahishashan at 8:30 am.

Similarly, train number 05684 Silchar – Mahishashan passenger train will depart from Silchar Railway Station at 1:30 pm every Thursday and Saturday. Via Karimganj (3:20 pm), the train will reach Maishashan at 4:25 pm.

On the way back, train number 05683 Mahishashan to Silchar Passenger Special train will depart from Maishashan at 9:00 am and arrive at Silchar at 11:45 am on every Monday and Friday.

Train 05681 will leave Maishashan every Thursday and Saturday at 5:15 pm. It will arrive in Silchar at 8:05 pm helping the commuters reach home after work.

Apart from Silchar, Arunachal, Badarpur, New Karimganj, Karimganj and Maishashan, the train will stop at Salchapra, Katakhal, Panchgram, Rupasibari (D), Bhanga, Chorgola (D) and Longai (D),

NF Railways informed that the train will be a composition of eight General Second Class coaches and two GLSR coaches.
