Youth found in Katirail with hands and legs tied, Foul play suspected, Police launches probe

In a startling turn of events, Kamal Uddin, a resident of Katigorah Part 3, was discovered with his hands and legs tied in a secluded area of Katirail today. Local residents stumbled upon the distressing scene in the morning and immediately alerted the Police, prompting a swift response from them.

Upon receiving the distress call from locals, the Police swiftly arrived at the scene and shifted the young man to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for medical treatment. It has been suspected that the youth was attacked by a miscreant.

It maybe mentioned that Kamal Uddin was detained by the police a few days back following a complaint lodged by a neighbour. He had been released within a few hours after his detention with certain conditions imposed on him. The youth suddenly disappeared from his residence yesterday night.
