NF Railway Cancels 4 Trains, Short-Terminates 2 Due to Water Logging Between Baraigram and Dullabcherra

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the cancellation and partial cancellation of several passenger trains following waterlogging between Baraigram and Dullabcherra railway stations in the Lumding division. The disruption in services is due to the suspension of track operations at kilometre locations 267/9 and 279/28-0.

According to the official notification issued by the Deputy Chief Operations Manager (Coordination), the following trains will remain fully cancelled:

Fully Cancelled Trains:

1. Train No. 55688 – Silchar to Dullabcherra Passenger (Cancelled on June 2 and 3)

2. Train No. 55687 – Dullabcherra to Silchar Passenger (Cancelled June 1, 3 and 4)

3. Train No. 55690 – Badarpur to Dullabcherra Passenger (Cancelled on June 2 and 3)

4. Train No. 55689 – Dullabcherra to Badarpur Passenger (Cancelled on 2, 3, 4, and 5 June 2025)

Partially Cancelled Trains:

Two express trains between Guwahati and Dullabcherra have been short-terminated or short-originated as follows:

1. Train No. 15617 – Guwahati to Dullabcherra Express (Journey commencing on 31 May and 2 June 2025)
Will be short-terminated at Baraigram

2. Train No. 15618 – Dullabcherra to Guwahati Express (Journey commencing on 1 and 3 June 2025)
Will be short-originated from Baraigram

The railway authorities have urged passengers to verify train statuses through the Integrated Coach Management System (ICMS), Passenger Information System, and National Train Enquiry System (NTES). Restoration work is reportedly underway, and further updates will be issued as the situation improves.
