Bengaluru Mystery: Cachar Youth Found Dead Inside Room, Family Demands Probe

A youth from Assam’s Cachar district was found dead under unusual circumstances in Bengaluru, with his family alleging that he was murdered and demanding a proper investigation into the death.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Ahmed Laskar, a resident of Nun Nagar village in Katigorah, Cachar. He had been working for a private company in Bengaluru for several years.

According to information available so far, Suman was found hanging from a window frame inside a room under the limits of Hudi Police Station in Bengaluru’s Madhapura area. However, visuals showed his feet were touching the ground and his body was in a sitting-like position when he was found.

Police recovered his body from the room and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

After receiving information about the incident, Suman’s family approached Katigorah Police in Assam. The family has alleged that the youth was killed and has demanded a detailed investigation to establish the exact circumstances leading to his death.

The circumstances surrounding the death have not yet been independently established. Further investigation by the Bengaluru Police is expected to clarify whether Suman died by suicide or whether there was any foul play involved.
