Himanta Biswa Sarma lists Ran Tilla, Bhuban Hill, Malegarh as places of historical importance
Finance Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, yesterday tabled the state budget for 2019 -20. While the proposal of building a Bhasha Saheed memorial in Barak Valley under the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Assam, caught many eyeballs and made headlines there were many other important announcements in Sarma’s 217 page long budget speech. One of them was the list with names of the places of natural beauty and historical significance
These places will get an infrastructure upgradation grant, and the places are:
