Cachar Police has kept a hawk’s eye on the smugglers and peddling illegal substances in different parts of the valley. SP Cachar Police, Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta said he would like to put an end to these illegal rackets functioning fearlessly in different parts of Cachar.
While speaking with Barak Bulletin he had said that these tablets do not have demand here in Barak Valley and so the estimated market value is Rs 1000 per tablet. “If the tablets reach Bangladesh or Tripura where the demand is high, they are priced at around Rs 1300 per tablet.”
