Cachar Administrations shuts 26 shops for violating COVID19 protocols

Taking a strong step against the lockdown violators, Cachar Administration on Monday closed around 26 shops for “non-abiding by COVID 19 protocols/norms”. Shops were ordered for closure following report submitted by the Executive Magistrate of Cachar.

A notification issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sumit Sattavan mentioned that the below-named shops will not be allowed to open under any circumstances till the lockdown ends.

The shops are –
1. New Box Stall No.22/c , College Road Area
2. Old Box Stall No.28 , College Road Area
3. Ananta Enterprise, College Road Area
4. Gopal Food centre, College Road Area
5. Chandan’s , College Road Area
6. Durga Bhandar, College Road Area
7. Pallab Medical Stores , Rangirkhari
8. Lokenath Medico, Rangirkhari
9. Rohbihari Investment Centre, Rangirkhari
10. Amar Dukan, Bimal Debnath, Rangirkhari
11. SS Enterprise, Rangirkhari
12. Kadambini Medical Hall, NH Area
13. Maa Lakshmi Shoe and Bag Stores, NH Area
14. MAMONf Fashion Tailoring House, NH Area

In a separate order, issued by District Magistrate Keerthi Jalli today, all stationary street vending has been prohibited including vegetable, fruits among others. However, doorstep delivery will be allowed to prevent crowding. “No stationary street vending including vegetable fruits amongst others is permitted. However, they are encouraged to deliver at the doorstep to prevent crowding. No shopkeeper is allowed to display his/her sale items outside the shop premises” the order mentioned.
