Silchar – Sealdah Kanchenjuga express to start trips from Oct 24, Sealdah – Agartala from Oct 25

For the convenience of the passengers during the upcoming festive season, Eastern Railways is going to run a fully reserved Festival special train(Kanchenjunga Express) between Silchar and Sealdah and Agartala and Sealdah stations.

According to the released schedule 01375 Sealdah – Silchar festival special will leave Sealdah at 6:35 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, between October 24, 2020, and November 30, 2020 (17 trips). The train will arrive in Silchar at 4:55 pm on the next day and the 01376 Silchar – Sealdah festival special will leave Silchar at 10:45 am on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between October 26, 2020, and December 2, 2020, to reach Sealdah at 7:25 pm on next day.

The train will take a halt in Badarpur, New Haflong, and Lumding stations of the Hill section apart from others and will contain a total of 19 coaches.

Another train, 01373 Sealdah – Agartala festival special will leave Sealdah at 6:35 am on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between October 25, 2020, and November 29, 2020 (21 trips). It will arrive at Agartala at 8:45 pm on the next day. The 01374 Agartala – Sealdah Festival special will leave Agartala at 05:55 am on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday between October 27, 2020, and December 1, 2020, to reach Sealdah at 7:25 pm on the next day.

It will have a halt in Ambasa, Kumarghat, Dharmanagar, New Karimganj, Badarpur, New Haflong, and Lumding of the Hill section and will also contain a total of 19 coaches.

The railways have reasoned the announcement of these trains to cater to the “clear extra rush” during the festive season.
