Silchar-Sonai Road Fire: Royal Enfield Bike and Swift Car Gutted

A Royal Enfield motorcycle and a Swift car were completely gutted in a fire at Aulia Bazar along the Silchar-Sonai Road on Sunday, causing panic among local residents and commuters.

According to preliminary information, the fire started on a Royal Enfield motorcycle while it was being ridden through the area. The rider noticed the fire and quickly moved the motorcycle to the roadside before leaving the spot. He escaped unhurt.

The motorcycle was parked beside a Swift car that had already been left there. The flames from the motorcycle soon spread to the car, causing both vehicles to catch fire.

Fire and Emergency Services personnel reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. After a prolonged effort, the fire was brought under control.

However, both the Royal Enfield motorcycle and the Swift car were completely destroyed in the fire.
