Recently, another significant development was reported for Borkhola’s Jarailtola area, where the strongroom used to be located at a NETRIP near Jarailtola, has now been shifted to Silchar, Ramnagar’s ISBT. It was informed by DC Cachar, Rohan Kumar Jha on Monday. He informed that the strongroom being located in NETRIP used to create various issues. He stated that the biggest issue is that NETRIP isn’t located at the centre of the district.

Although the location of the strongroom used to be beneficial for Jarailtola, Borkhola, and Lakhipur, being in close proximity, it was not beneficial for the other constituencies. So, this time the counting would be done at Silchar ISBT on June 4.
