12-year-old dead in Katigorah after lightning strikes, two siblings also injured

A lightning strike has taken away the life of a 12-year-old boy in Katigorah. This incident happened this morning when the 12-year-old went for a bath in the pond near his house along with his brothers, who were also injured. 

Mustakur Hussain was a student of Balirbond Primary School in Katigorah. Before heading for school, he went for a bath at the pond when a sudden thunder strike took away his life. The commotion of the kids near the pond alerted his parents, who later found the dead body of their child. His body had severe burns due to the high voltage of the lightning strike.

His two brothers were also there with him in the pond this morning. His brothers, Sahin Ahmed and Samin Ahmed have sustained injuries due to the lightning.

Katigorah Police was informed about this inciden, and later went there for inquiry. The dead body of the deceased was later sent to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
