Decomposed Body of unidentified person found in drain near Tarapur India Club in Silchar

A decomposed body of an unidentified individual was discovered in a drain near Tarapur India Club in Silchar on Thursday at around 2 pm. The locals immediately reported the incident to the Tarapur Police Outpost, and the Outpost In-Charge along with a team arrived at the scene to recover the body.

The corpse was in a state of decomposition, making it challenging to identify the individual. Therefore, the body was sent to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post mortem examination.
