District Administration Declares Local Holiday on March 15 for Dol Jatra Festivities in Cachar

The Cachar district administration has declared a local holiday on March 15, 2025, in celebration of Dol Jatra, ensuring a grand festive atmosphere across the region.

According to an official order, all state government offices, including Revenue and Magisterial Courts, educational institutions, and financial institutions, will remain closed on the designated day. However, emergency services will continue without disruption.

The administration has also clarified that any pre-scheduled examinations, written tests, interviews, and related processes will proceed as planned, ensuring that academic and administrative activities remain unaffected.

The announcement was made through a press release issued by the Regional Office of Information and Public Relations, Barak Valley Zone, Silchar, Assam.
