Indigo to start Silchar-Bangalore flights starting Feb 21

The airports authority on Monday announced the revised winter scheduled of flights at Silchar airport, to include new Indigo airlines flight operating between Silchar and Bengaluru.

“We are delighted to inform that @IndiGo6E is now directly connecting Bengaluru airport with Silchar by flight no. 6E6114/6118 w.e.f 21.02.21” the Silchar airport authority tweeted on Monday.

The airline has assigned its A320 aircraft for the route and will operate on 2nd, 4th and 7th days of a week. The aircraft will arrive at Silchar airport at 11:35 hrs and will depart back at 12:15 hrs.

“On day 2nd ,4th &7th there would be two flights to Bengaluru, flight 6E 6114/6118 direct and flight 6E 344/932 providing through connectivity. This is a great boost to the air connectivity of the valley” an airport authority source maintained.

Apart from this, there will be 6 other flights operating from Silchar, 3 of Indigo airline, 2 of Spicejet and 1 of Air India.
