MP Parimal Suklabaidya Meets Residents During Outreach Marking 12 Years of Modi Government

Silchar Member of Parliament Parimal Suklabaidya conducted a public outreach campaign across different parts of the Silchar Lok Sabha constituency on June 13 as part of a nationwide programme marking 12 years of the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, Suklabaidya interacted with senior citizens, public representatives, party leaders, workers and members of the public during visits to several Assembly constituencies. During the interactions, he highlighted what he described as the achievements of the Government of India over the past 12 years.

The MP spoke about initiatives undertaken in areas such as infrastructure development, digital services, financial inclusion, healthcare, women’s empowerment, farmers’ welfare and social justice. He also said that India had emerged as a development-oriented nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was progressing towards the vision of a “Viksit Bharat”.

The outreach programme covered Silchar, Lakhipur, Borkhola, Katigorah, Udharbond and Sonai Assembly constituencies. According to the release, Dholai constituency was scheduled to be covered at a later stage.

During the visits, Suklabaidya met senior citizens, BJP workers and local residents. The release stated that he listened to public concerns and assured people of continued efforts towards welfare and development.

Several BJP leaders and public representatives accompanied the MP during the programme, including Nirapada Deb, president of West Katigorah Mandal BJP; Sudip Das, general secretary of Kalain Mandal BJP; Mohitosh Tanti, former BJYM Cachar district secretary; Bijoyata Mahato, Zila Parishad member from Lakhipur; Dulal Das, president of New Silchar Mandal; and Papri Rani Dutta, AP president of Rajabazar Development Block, among others.

According to the press release, participants expressed support for the government’s development initiatives and its vision of building a self-reliant and developed India.
