Shirtless State Govt employee sits in his office wearing just a towel in Cachar; Says he resides there

A state government employee was found only partly clothed in his office. This visual was caught in a sting operation by Barak Bulletin’s camera. The government employee of the Veterinary Subcenter in Gosaipur, under Udharbond, was caught sitting in his office bare-bodied. His clothes were found lying on another chair and he was sitting on his desk, right inside the office of the hospital. At a time when the Chief Minister of Assam is taking steps to improve the state government offices and facilities, this visual stands as a reality check.

Abdul Kadir Mazumder, the Field Assistant in question also said he took a shower there and that is why he was sitting just in his towel under the fan, in the office. When asked by the reporter about his “bareness”, he replied this was not the office hour and that the office was over at 2 PM. If the signboard of the office was not visible in the video, anyone could misunderstand it to be his bedroom.

The reporter, when asked why was he sitting here half-naked, he pointed at his “towel” to say that it was his clothes. Abdul Kadir Mazumder also tried to hide his packet of pan masala, but it was well caught in the video. Even though he repeatedly said that his office hours were over, he clearly missed the point that he was still inside the institution called “office”.

The official went on to say that he resides at the office frequently.
