Tragic road accident at Sadarghat Bridge claims biker's life

A fatal road accident occurred on the morning of June 2, 2023, at Silchar Sadarghat Bridge, resulting in the tragic death of a bike rider. The incident involved a speeding magic truck bearing the registration number AS 11 CC 0881, which collided with the bike from the rear. The collision caused the bike rider, identified as Suman Das, to fall onto the road, ultimately succumbing to severe head injuries at the spot.

Upon receiving information about the accident, local authorities responded promptly, dispatching police officers to the scene. They secured the area and initiated an investigation into the incident.

Following standard procedure, the body of the deceased bike rider, Suman Das, was transferred to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination. The post-mortem examination will provide crucial insights into the exact cause of death and aid in the ongoing investigation.
