Two more individuals test COVID positive in Barak Valley; "Were under quarantine in Silchar," Himanta

Two more individuals from Barak Valley have tested COVID 19 positive today.  A while back, Health Minister of Assam tweeted, “Alert ~ Two persons from the Silchar quarantine center are found #COVID19 +. One each from Cachar and Hailakandi.”

As per available information, both the Barak Valley residents had recently traveled to Cachar and were placed under facility quarantine.

Sources in the administration informed that the two individuals are Faizul Haque Barbhuiya, 62years from Katilicherra, Hailakandi and Ekrom Ali, a 72-year-old resident of Surtara, Cachar.

Both of them will be treated in Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
