The campaign was organised as a part of the “Pledge for Life” program of the group. The campaign was organised at the premises of Niranjan Paul Institute at College Road. Ten students from the NSS Unit of the college went to the school at around 12 in the afternoon to make the students aware about the harmful effects of consuming tobacco.
Subhasish Choudhury, the tobacco control leader of the unit and a student of the college shared that the awareness mission was successful. They could make the students understand the danger of tobacco on them, their friends or anyone in the family.
